I've always found the SKS to be more accurate than the AK's. The 2" to 2 1/2" 5 shot groups with surplus ammo is common for SKS's in my experience. It's not so much anti Bubba as the fact that there essentially isn't a satisfactory way to mount a scope to a SKS, and for the effective range of the rifle, you're really just as well off spending the money on ammo and learning to shoot the iron sights well.
